ST. ALBANS - Adam J. Sartini Jr., age 67, passed away Thursday, November 15, 2012 at the Fletcher Allen Health Care facility in Burlington.
He was born November 25, 1943 in Pawtucket, RI the son of the late Adam & Laura (Massey) Sartini.
Adam spent most of his life in Rhode Island and in the late 1980s he moved up to this area. He was self-employed and ran his own cleaning company for around 20 years. Adam was always willing to stand up for others and he served on the board of directors for the Champlain Valley Office of Economic Opportunity. He was also an animal lover.
He is survived by his son, Adam Sartini III and his wife Danielle and his granddaughter, Julia all of Essex Jct.; his brother, Allen Sartini and his wife Doris of Lincoln, RI; his sister, Dorothy Lefrancois of Pawtucket, RI; his former wife, Doris Sartini of Sheldon and several nieces & nephews. Besides his parents, Adam was predeceased by his sister, Gloria Merow.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, December 1, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Church of the Rock, 1091 Fairfax Rd., St. Albans, VT 05478 with Pastor Roland Ludlum officiating.
There will be visiting hours at the church on the day of the service from 1:00 PM until the hour of the service.
