Agnes Bouchard

SWANTON - Agnes C. Bouchard, age 90, passed away on Friday, February 23rd, 2024, at Franklin County Health & Rehab.

Agnes was born in Swanton on August 3, 1933, to the late Sylvio & Ruby (Wells) Quilliam.

She spent her life dedicated to her family and her passions for sewing, gardening, and baking delicious pies. She dedicated years of hard work to the sewing industry, honing her craft at home. Her love for creating beautiful pieces extended beyond work; Agnes spent countless hours tending to her gardens, bringing beauty and joy to those around her.

Agnes will forever be remembered by her husband of 66 years, Clayton Bouchard, their children, Gary Bouchard and his wife Jane of Swanton, and Jeannie Miller and her husband Jeff of St. Albans; four grandchildren, Ryan Miller and his wife Miranda, Katie Verriotto and her husband Andrew, Jillian Rixon and her husband Deron, Brian Bouchard and his finance Alyssa Audet; two great grandchildren, Evelyn Miller, and Gianna Bouchard; siblings, Edward Quilliam and his wife Nancy, and Robert Quilliam and his wife Shirley; siblings-in-law, Andrew Gagne, Raymond Bouchard and his wife Nancy; and many nieces & nephews. In addition to her parents, Agnes was predeceased by her siblings, Paul Quilliam and his wife Jane, Eileen Gagne, and David Quilliam; and 11 siblings-in-law.

Agnes' family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Franklin County Rehab for the care she received during her stay there.

Family and friends are invited to Agnes' life celebration to include a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, March 1, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Church of the Nativity, 65 Canada Street, Swanton, VT. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Swanton.
