September 7, 1911 — January 15, 2008

LEHIGH ACRES, FL/ENOSBURG FALLS, VT - Alice Vaillancourt Tremblay Charron, a resident of Lehigh Acres, FL originally from Cape de la Madeleine, Que. Canada, and Enosburg Falls went to the Lord on Tuesday January 15, 2008 at the age of 96 surrounded by her loving family. Alice was born September 7, 1911 in Cape de la Madeleine, Quebec Canada. Alice was predeceased by her 1st husband Gerard Tremblay in November of 1952 and her 2nd husband Theobald Charron in September of 1985.

Alice lived a very full life and will be greatly missed. She was a member of St. Raphael Catholic Church in Lehigh Acres. She enjoyed BINGO, cross stitch, cooking, gardening, crocheting, and most of all her family.

Alice leaves a daughter, Adele Petersohn and her husband Ronald of Lehigh Acres, Fl; a son Daniel Tremblay and his wife Mary of Naples, FL; a daughter-in-law, Beverly Tremblay of Ft. Meyers, FL.. She is also survived by a brother, Rosaire Vaillancourt and his wife Claire of Sheldon; 2 sisters-in-law, Francis Vaillancourt of Enosburg Falls, and Pearl Vaillancourt of Leominster, MA. She also leaves Theobalds family, a stepdaughter, Rita Paradis of Franklin; stepdaughter-in-law, Jean Charron of Champlain, NY; 2 stepsons, Claude Charron and his wife Lise of Berkshire, and Leonard Charron and his wife Sally of Enosburg Falls; She also leaves 21 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Alice was predeceased by her parents Alfred & Anna (Lottinville) Vaillancourt; a son, Claude Tremblay; a granddaughter, Stephanie Tremblay; 4 brothers, Eugene, Jule, Charles, & Gerard Vaillancourt; 4 sisters, Beatrice Bourbeau, Leonie Begnoche, Bernadette Heep, anad Rose Tremblay; 2 stepsons, Donald & Norman Charron; a stepdaughter, Leona Charron; and a stepson-in-law, Gerard Paradis.

Funeral services will be held Monday January 21, 2008 at 10:00 AM at St. Louis Catholic Church in Highgate with Rev. Rich ODonnell of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Enosburg Falls celebrating the Mass of Christian burial. Interment will follow in the St. Louis Cemetery in Highgate Center

Visiting hours will be held Sunday afternoon from 2-5 PM at the Spears Funeral home, 96 Dickinson Ave., Enosburg Falls

A memorial service was held in Lehigh Acres, FL on Thursday afternoon at the Lee Memorial Park Funeral Home
