FRANKLIN - Aline M. Bouchard age 93, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at Franklin County Rehab Center with her loving family by her side.
She was born in Highgate Center on October 1, 1926 to the late Omer & Yvonne (Plante) Laroche.
Aline was one of nine children raised on the family farm. She religiously practiced her faith and was involved for many years with St. Marys Catholic Church in Franklin where she taught religious education for many years and helped with many wonderful church dinners, Church of the Nativity and the Ladies of St. Anne in Swanton. Aline will always be remembered for her delectable baked goods, especially Memeres Maple Creations. Seeing family and friends gather over food and laughter was the core of Alines family foundation. Maple dumplings in the Bouchard Family Sugarhouse will always be associated with fond memories of her, as they originated from the family recipe.
She is survived by her children, Denis Bouchard and his wife Rhoda of Franklin, Philip Bouchard and his wife Pierrette of Franklin, Jackie Ingalls and her husband Keith of St. Albans, Edward Bouchard of Highgate and John Bouchard and his wife Michele of Fairfield, daughter-in-law, Laura Gilbert and her husband Don of Swanton; 18 grandchildren, Heidi, Chad, Keith, Marc, Greg, Christina, Carolyn, Daniel, Renee, P.J., Anna, Trinity, Trenton, Raelynne, Emmet, Nicholas, Makayla and Kyle; 9 great grandchildren; brother, Normand Laroche and his wife Charlene of Highgate; sisters; Armande Tremblay of Highgate, Claire Menard of Sheldon, Denise Rainville and her husband Roger of Swanton; sisters-in-law, Cecile Laroche of Highgate and Rita Grenier of Montreal; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Aline was predeceased by her husband, L. Philip Bouchard; sons, Claude, Clement, Joseph and Laurent Bouchard; brothers, George, Marcel and Maurice Laroche; sister, Rita Ferland; brothers and sisters-in-law, Anita Laroche, Ida Laroche, Pamphile Tremblay, Fabian Ferland, Claude Menard, Raymond and Mary Paul Roy, Paul and Cecile Bouchard, Philip and Theresa Pierce, and Norbert and Madeleine Rainville.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, November 18, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the Church of the Nativity, Canada Street, Swanton. Interment will be held at a later date.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 17, 2019 from 2-5:00 PM at Kidder Memorial Home, 89 Grand Avenue, Swanton.
