BAKERSFIELD - Allan Monette, age 69, passed away on Tuesday, June 25th, 2024 surrounded by his loving family.

Allan was born on September 6, 1954 to Louis and Veronica (Kelly) Monette.

Allan found joy in simple pleasures, as a kid playing baseball during his school days, working on the farm, and was a graduate of Enosburg High School. He was a jack of all trades, excelling in building and taking pride in his work. Allan was known for his hardworking nature and his ability to tackle any task at hand with a cheerful whistle. Allan's generosity knew no bounds, always putting the needs of his family and friends above his own.

Allan's impact on those around him was immeasurable, his kindness and selflessness will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Allan had the privilege of working alongside his brother and father for 30+ years at the St. Albans Co-operative Creamery.

Allan is survived by his wife of 49 years, Patricia Monette; children, Jody Tower and her husband Liam, James Monette, and Terry Mims and her husband Michael; grandchildren, Nerissa, Neve, Juliet, Clay, Wyatt, Autumn and Ryder; siblings, Gary Monette and Rusty Monette; sister-in-law, Donna Paquette and her husband Rosaire; nieces, Erica Schveighoffer and her husband Steve, and their children, Nathan and Justin, and Diana Paquette and her significant other Bill Samuelson, and their children, Matthew and Wyatt. Allan was predeceased by his Parents, Louis and Veronica, a grandson Aidan, sister Sandy Rexford, and in-laws, George and Marilyn Partidge.

In respecting Allan's wishes, services will be held privately.
