ENOSBURG FALLS - Ami Joseph Brouillette, age 98, passed away Monday morning December 12, 2011 at the Brownway Residence in Enosburg Falls with his loving wife at his side.

He was born May 4, 1913 in Montgomery the son of the late Louis & Eva (Gosselin) Brouillette.

Ami was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Enosburg Falls. He owned & operated a dairy farm in Enosburg Falls. After selling the farm in 1965 he started working with Maurice Roy as well as being a self-employed carpenter specializing in remodeling houses. He also had a period of time that he was the Foreman at the Toy Factory in Montgomery Village.

He is survived by his wife, Evelyn (Levis) Brouillette of Enosburg Falls. Ami & Evelyn were married on April 23, 1966. He is also survived by his son, Gary Brouillette and his wife Camilla (Mercy) of Websterville; a step daughter, Patricia Skoll and her husband Robert of Orange City, FL; his grandchildren, Joan, Steven & Michael Brouillette; step granddaughter, Robin Dunton; 6 great grandchildren and 1 step-great granddaughter; sisters-in-law, Sylvia Brouillette of West Enosburg, and Joyce Prout and her husband Richard of Daytona, FL and Carolyn Levis of Morrisville; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Ami was predeceased by his first wife, Blanche (Chalifoux) Brouillette; brothers, Richard & Wilfred Brouillette; and a sister, Alice Brouilette.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 15, 2011 at 11:00 AM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church , 222 Missisquoi St., Enosburg Falls with Rev. Roger Charbonneau celebrating the Mass of Christian burial. Interment will be held next spring in the Montgomery Center Cemetery.

Visiting hours will be held Wednesday from 2-4 PM at the Spears Funeral Home, 96 Dickinson Ave., Ensoburg Falls.
