RICHFORD - Andrea Fae Bowden, age 70, passed away on Friday, May 8, 2015 at the Northwestern Medical Center in St. Albans.
She was born on October 7, 1944 in Montgomery to the late E. Grant & Attrude (Domina) Kidder.
Andrea spent most of her life traveling around the United States; she lived in several states including Vermont, Florida and California. She came to Richford to take care of her parents and ended up staying. She was very proud of the fact that she could keep her parents home in the family. Andrea was a member of the Troy American Legion Post #28 Auxiliary and her hobbies included bowling, cooking and listening to music, especially Irish Country. Her greatest joy was her family; she loved spending time with her kids and grandkids.
She is survived by her children, Jim Hoy and his wife Shirley of Northport, FL, Rick Hoy and his wife Julie of Richford, Chris Hoy and his wife Elaine of Mooresville, IN and Theresa Gardner of Palmetto, FL; 7 grandchildren, Christina, Kayla, Caleb, Shane, Ricky and Charlotte Lee Hoy and Shelby Gardener; 5 great grandchildren, Austin, Landon, Makenzie, Jacqueline and Autumn; her siblings, Douglas Kidder and his wife Jane of Richford, James Kidder and his wife Shirley of Bay City, WA and Georganna Anderson of Richford; siblings-in-law, Linda Kidder of Seaside, OR and Cathy & Eugene Pyndess of Richford and several nieces & nephews. Besides her parents, Andrea was predeceased by a brother, Richard Kidder and a brother-in-law, Arthur Anderson.
In keeping with Andreas wishes, her family will have a celebration of life at a later date and there are no visiting hours.
