Anita N. Friot

RICHFORD - Anita N. Friot, age 75, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 6, 2019 after a long struggle with Alzheimers Disease at Our Lady of the Meadows.
She was born in Montgomery on August 27, 1943, the daughter of the late George J. & Bessie (Longe) Wetherby.
Anita spent her life and raised her family in Montgomery, Berkshire, and Richford. She worked as a caregiver for her family and friends, which suited her servant heart. Anita enjoyed knitting, crocheting, playing bingo, going gambling, and collecting treasures at lawn sales. She will be remembered for her ability to be both easy going and straightforward while keeping her family at the center of her life.
She is survived by her children, Rodwin Friot Sr. and his wife Stephanie of Berkshire, Scott Friot and his significant other Jo-Ann Audette of Richford, Jody Friot, Randy Friot of Berkshire, and Melissa Friot of NH; grandchildren, Rodwin Jr and Tyler Friot, and Bradly and Bree Conger; great grandchildren, Easton Conger, and Lilith, Sidney, and Mahkale Friot; brother, John Straw Wetherby of Richford; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Anita was predeceased by her grandchildren, Shelby, and Josh; and siblings, Glenford Pedo , Gardner, Jack, Clifton Kippy , and Gretchen Gret .
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, July 19, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Spears Funeral Home, 96 Dickinson Ave., Enosburg Falls.
