RICHFORD - Arlene Fern Whitehead, age 79, passed away Thursday evening, November 4, 2010 at the Franklin County Rehab Facility in St. Albans.
She was born October 26, 1931 in Montgomery the daughter of the late, Otis & Eliza (Flanders) Rushford.
Arlene enjoyed listening to country music, playing cards & BINGO, watching TV especially soaps, and taking rides. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She worked for a brief period at the Bobbin Mill in Richford. Most of her time was spent watching children and being a homemaker.
She is survived by her grandsons, Roger Clark II and his wife Teri of Berkshire, and Scott Clark of St. Albans; her great grandchildren, Tiauna Clark, Roger Clark III, Emmi Lou Clark & Ashley Zeno; her sisters, Charlotte Rushford and her husband Larry of Ferrisburg, Uldene Embury, Frances Culloton, and Natalie Marston all of Richford; several nieces and nephews; and her friend, Max Sonny Taylor of Richford. Besides her parents, Arlene was predeceased by her husband, Frederick Whitehead; and her daughter, Candy Mae Clark.
In keeping with Arlenes wishes there will be no funeral services or visiting hours. She will be buried in the Montgomery Center Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
