Arthur A. Vachon

BERKSHIRE - Arthur A. Vachon, age 71, passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at the University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington.

He was born in Berkshire on February 23, 1948 to the late Adelord & Alphonsine (Goyette) Vachon.

Arthur grew up and spent most of his life in Berkshire. He worked at Blue Seal Feeds in Richford for over 30 years. Arthur could repair and fix almost anything, which is probably why he loved collecting items to work on. He enjoyed his morning coffee, going to Fourniers Auctions, eating out, taking long rides, and going to lawn sales.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Linda (Sylvester) Vachon of Berkshire; their children, Eric Vachon and his significant other Norma Roberts of Enosburgh, and Laurie Thompson and her husband Lucius of Enosburgh; granddaughters, Megan Vachon, and Ella Thompson; sisters, Pauline Chadwick and her husband Harvey of Swanton, and Marcelene Coe and her husband Stanley Spaulding of Essex Jct.; and several nieces & nephews. Besides his parents, Arthur was predeceased by his sisters, Doris Austin, Vivian Paradis, and Amanda Paradis.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 24, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Spears Funeral Home, 96 Dickinson Ave., Enosburg Falls.

Visitation will be held on Friday at Spears Funeral Home from 1:00 PM until the hour of the service.
