Aven Michael Royea

RICHFORD - Aven Michael Royea, age 1 year and 8 months, passed away unexpectedly at the Vermont Childrens Hospital in Burlington with his loving family at his side.

He was born May 26, 2013 in St. Albans the son of Joslynn Bessette of Richford and Kevin Royea, Jr. of Orleans

Aven enjoyed swimming in great papa farmers swimming pool, riding the 4-wheeler with Uncle Logan, snowmobiling, having Aunt Bailey pulling him outside in the snow, cuddling with Meme & Papa, John Deere tractors. Aven also loved going to truck and car shows and the sounds of engines. Most of all he loved spending time with his Mommy.

Besides his parents, Aven is survived by his maternal grandparents, Larry & Michele Bessette of Richford; paternal grandparents, Kevin & Laura Royea Sr. of Orleans; maternal great grandparents, Gary Lutes, Brenda Ballard, Roger Gendron, Dianne Bessette & Joseph Martel all of Richford; paternal great grandfather, Harold Johnson of Richford; many aunts, uncles and cousins. Aven was predeceased by his paternal great grandparents, Phyllis Johnson & Basil & Winnie Royea.

Avens family would like to thank everyone who has been in Avens life that has made it wonderful for him.

A funeral service will be held Sunday, March 1, 2015 at 2:00 PM at the Spears Funeral Home, 96 Dickinson Ave., Enosburg Falls with Pastor Tim Stetson officiating. Interment will be held later this spring in All Saints Cemetery in Richford.

A time of visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:00 PM until the hour of the funeral.
