Beatrice Reynolds

ENOSBURG FALLS - Beatrice K. Reynolds, age 92, passed away Monday, January 5, 2015 at the Northwestern Medical Center in St. Albans.

She was born June 9, 1922 in St. Seraphine, Quebec Canada the daughter of the late Eddie & Marie (Martin) Kane.

Bea was a resident of Enosburg Falls for the past 21 years and was a former resident of Sheldon. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Enosburg Falls and was a former member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Sheldon Springs.

Bea was a supporter of the Vermont Association of the Blind and had been involved with the American Kennel Club. She also attended Care Partners in St. Albans. Bea loved animals, especially dogs and raising Cocker Spaniels, reading, watching birds and watching Christian television. She had a love of children and had a very special bond with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her sons, Alfred John Reed and his wife Susan (Irish) of Sheldon, and Richard Parks Sr. and his wife Arlene of Swanton; 6 grandchildren, many great grandchildren; her sisters, Alice Swainbank of St. Albans and Pat and her husband Ted Breure of South Burlington; her brother, Andy Kane and his wife Bette of Enosburg; sisters-in-law, Alfreda Kane of Sheldon, Gloria Kane of Fairfield, and Joan Kane of Berkshire; brother-in-law, Richard Putnam of St Albans; many nieces and nephews; and many foster children she helped raise. Besides her parents, Bea was predeceased by her husband Edwin Reynolds; her brothers, Michael, Walter, Frank, Dennis & Herman Kane; and her sister, Edna Putnam.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 10, 2015 at 1:00 PM at St. Anthonys Catholic Church, 117 Shawville Road, Sheldon Springs with Rev. Roger Charbonneau celebrating the Mass of Christian burial. Interment will be held next spring in St. Anthonys Cemetery in Sheldon.

Visiting hours will be held Friday from 4-7 PM at the Spears Funeral Home, 96 Dickinson Ave., Enosburg Falls.
