BERKSHIRE - Betty B. Doe, age 53, died tragically while vacationing in Key
Largo, FL on Monday evening September 19, 2011.
She was born January 29, 1958 in St. Albans the daughter of Irene (Morel) Benson
and the late Robert E. Benson.
Betty touched many lives in her 53 years. She loved her home, living on the farm where she could look out her picture windows and watch the sun rise over the green mountains with her cup of coffee in hand. She loved working outside and taking care of her cats and horses. Betty was simply amazing. She was such a giving person, and was always the person there for everyone else whenever they needed anything. Everyone that knew her will always remember how her beautiful smile and bright blue eyes could light up a room.
Betty loved to travel. She had many places she wanted to see in this world. She had an amazing last day spent with her loving husband of over 33 years and great lifelong friends, sailing on a catamaran, swimming in the ocean, and drinking rum punch while the sun set over Key Largo.
Betty\u0027s favorite moments were those spent with her family--dinners out with her husband and friends, taking care of her mother, playing with her grandsons, talking with her daughter and son. She always said she was so proud of her children and their successes. She loved a good mother-daughter spa day and appreciated a really good margarita. She loved the big family gatherings at the Doe farm and having everyone together.
She is survived by her husband, Ricky Doe of Berkshire; her daughter, Laura Cole
and her husband Wade of Georgia; her son, Charles Doe and his girlfriend, Shannon
Maynard of Georgia; her precious grandchildren, Noah & Elias Cole of Georgia;
