Beulah Raine

ENOSBURG FALLS - Beulah O. Raine, age 92, widow of Henry Raine, passed away Friday January 4, 2007 at the Brownway Residence in Enosburg Falls with her loving family at her side.
She was born September 17, 1915 in Richford the daughter of the late Albert C. & Edna (Chalifoux) Lumbra.
Beulah was employed at Enosburg Falls High School in the Hot Lunch Program for several years retiring in the late 1970s. She enjoyed bowling, having played many years in the bowling leagues at the Dairy Center and she also had a passion for playing BINGO. She was one of the first residents at Riverview Apartments where along with her husband assumed the caretaking duties of the facility.
Her family was a very important part of her life and as recent as New Years day of 2008 she celebrated the New Year with her daughter Joann, her husband George, their children and their families. Her grandchildren will fondly remember her for her rolls and peanut butter fudge.
She is survived by 2 daughters and their husbands, Joann & Wayne George Robtoy of Enosburg, and Mona & Clement Lamarche of Zellwood, FL; a son Vernon & Helen Raine of Westford, MA; 12 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren; a brother-in-law, Wareth Buster Garrett of Enosburg Falls; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Henry Raine, they were married December 26, 1931; also, 3 sisters, Lillian Garrett, Gladys Rogerson, and Jessie Laflam; a brother, Roger Lumbra.
In keeping with Beulahs wishes, funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Interment will take place next spring in the Missisquoi Cemetery in Enosburg Falls.
