JACKSONVILLE, AR / FRANKLIN, VT - Beverly Hubbard Jette, 74, of Jacksonville passed away Friday, December 2, 2011. She was born May 13, 1937 in Burlington, Vermont to the late Seth and Margaret Woodward Hubbard. While living in Vermont, Mrs. Jette served as President of the Womens GOP of Franklin. Mrs. Jette was a member of St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church in Jacksonville, Arkansas, were she was President of Alter and Rosary for one term and the organist for 20 years. She enjoyed square dancing, camping and was an active member of Whispering Pines RV Chapter. She especially enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Jette is survived by her husband, Edmund Jette of Jacksonville; her children, Michael Jette of The Colony, Texas, Rebecca Taylor of Florence, Alabama, Richard Jette of Bells, Texas and her beloved Bear . She is also survived by her grandchildren, Bethany, Jessica, Seth, Leslie, Kayla and Ashley; three great-grandchildren and her brother, John Hubbard of St. Albans, Vermont.
Visiting hours will be held Friday, December 16, 2011 from 4-6 PM at the Spears Funeral Home, 96 Dickinson Ave., Enosburg Falls.
A graveside service will be held Saturday December 17, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the Franklin Village Cemetery, Square Road, Franklin with Rev. Roger Charbonneau offering the Catholic Rite of Committal.
