Beverly Sweeney

ENOSBURG FALLS - Beverly Sweeney, age 70, passed away Wednesday afternoon December 23, 2015 at the St. Albans Healthcare & Rehab Facility with her family at her side.

She was born September 12, 1945 in Burlington the daughter of the late Peter & Mary (Doody) Lawyea

Beverly had co-owned & operated Northeast Traders in St. Albans for several years where she sold crafts focusing on making Indian Jewelry which had special meaning from her Mohawk & Abnaki heritage. She also had a love of all animals. Beverly enjoyed the time spent and friendships that she made while attending Care Partners in St. Albans. Most of all she loved to spend time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Beverly was and extremely loving mother to all of her children, which she would have given the shirt off her back to help them anytime. She was also devoted and loving to her husband Robert, whom she was with for many years. Robert was a huge part of Beverlys life, they meant the world to one another.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Sweeney Sr. of Enosburg Falls; her children; Step-Son, Brian Newell and his wife Pam, daughter, Beverly Baranik and her husband Jeff, son, Erwin Rockwell, daughter, Mary Rockwell and her fianc Kevin Savoie, daughter, Patricia Severance, daughter, Angela Kulengosky and her husband Mark, step-son, Robert Sweeney Jr. and his wife Linda, daughter, Jeneen Therrien and husband Kyle, and son, Christopher Sweeney; her grandchildren, Gage, Chance, Mikie, Kenny, Lance, Tabitha, Katie, Justin, Michelle, Elizabeth, Kristin, Kirsten, Kayla, Dakota, AJ, Trinity & Damian; many great grandchildren; her grand-dogs, Max, Ozzie & Pixie; several nieces and nephews; and many friends at Care Partners and St. Albans Health & Rehab especially Gloria Churchill. Besides her parents, Beverly was predeceased by her step-father, Charles McEachern; and her siblings, Ernest, Erwin & Patricia.

In keeping with Beverlys wishes, she will be cremated and there will be no memorial service or visiting hours.
