ST.ALBANS - Bevolie J. Beyor, age 70, passed away Wednesday May 2, 2007 at the Northwestern Medical Center in St. Albans.
\tShe was born in Bakersfield on May 6, 1936 the daughter of the late James H. & Naomi ((Britch) Beyor.
\tBevolie was a resident of Bakersfield most of her life, moving to St. Albans in 1998 to live with her son, Kevin. She was a member of the Bakersfield Methodist Church and was a 1953 graduate of Brigham Academy. She was employed at M.H. Fishman Co., Teds Sweet Shop, 10 years as a bookkeeper for the Singer Co. in Vermont and Massachusetts, several years for the Bakersfield School District as a hot lunch cook and bus driver and finally worked for 8 years at Verdelle Village Nursing Home in St. Albans retiring in 1988.
She was a member of the Bakersfield, East Fairfield prayer & Bible study group since 1991, and the Womens Fellowship Group for many years. Also a member of the Outreach Mission until her illness forced her to stay at home.
\tShe is survived by her son, Kevin Martell of St. Albans; Twin grandsons, Robert James Tipper, and James Edward Tipper both of Berkshire; 1 granddaughter, Kristen Lee Hope of St. Albans; 1 great grandson, Gage Michael Genson of St. Albans; 2 brothers, Glendon Beyor of Bakersfield, and Wayne Beyor and his wife Evelyn of Munson, MA.; several nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Vicki Marie St. Pierre of Highgate. Also, several aunts, uncles and cousins. Besides her parents she was predeceased by a son, Robert Martell Sr. April 28, 1998; 4 brothers, Floyd, Donald, Robert & Orin Beyor; 1 sister, Ruby St. Pierre.
\tFuneral services will be held Monday afternoon May 7, 2007 at 2:00 PM at the Bakersfield Methodist Church with Rev. Sue Marie Baskette officiating. Interment will follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery.
\tVisiting hours will be held Sunday from 5-8 PM at the Spears Funeral Home, 96 Dickinson Ave., Enosburg Falls
