Brian "Pete" Broe

RICHFORD - Brian W. Pete Broe, age 60, passed away Wednesday evening April 10, 2013 at his home.

He was born May 28, 1952 in St. Albans the son of Marie (Longey) Broe and the late Charles W. Broe.

Pete was a lifelong resident of Richford. He worked for Sweat-Comings Furniture Manufactures and the Town of Richford Highway Dept. He was also a handyman around the town of Richford, mowing lawns, shoveling snow and many other things that needed to be done around peoples homes. He was a former member of the Sons of the American Legion Post # 12 of Richford. Pete enjoyed fishing, deer hunting, 4-wheeling and going to lawn sales.

He is survived by his wife, Patty (Lovelette) Broe of Richford. Pete & Patty were married August 5, 1985. He is also survived by his daughters, Jessica Broe and her friend Ralph Garrow of Richford and Heather Bapp and her husband Chad of Berkshire; Grandchildren, Chelsea Byrne, Caleb, Scott & Jaylynn Bapp all of Berkshire
His mother, Marie Broe of Richford; his brothers and their wives, Ernest & Ina Broe of Cornwall, Joseph & Laura Broe of Berkshire, and Timothy & Patty Broe of Sheldon Springs; his sisters and their husbands, Judy & Jerry Butler Richford and Peggy & Jeff Clark of Berkshire; several nieces and nephews. Besides his father, Pete was predeceased by his nephew, Thomas Gleason, III.

In keeping with Petes wishes there will be no funeral or visiting hours. A private committal will take place later this spring in the Hillside Cemetery in Richford.
