Burton Donna

RICHFORD - Burton Beeman Donna, Jr., age 73, passed away with his loving family by his side on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at the University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington.

He was born in St. Albans on August 14, 1951 to the late Burton Sr. & Pearl (Eldred) Donna.

After graduating from high school Burton enlisted in the U.S. Army. He served in the Army for over 26 years, and retired as a dedicated Staff Sergeant. Burton will be fondly remembered for his love of operating HAM Radios, listening to his scanner, flying his RC Helicopter, and spending quality time with his family.

He is survived by his children, Michelle Donna of Fayetteville, NC, Marlena Price and her husband Andrew of Raeford, NC, Benjamin Johnson and his wife Lori of Berkshire, and Jonathon Johnson and his wife Emily of Richford; grandchildren, Andrew Lewis, Desiree, Kenneth, Darren, and Katelynn Martin, Brooke, Carter, Rosalee, and Raelynn Johnson; great-grandchildren, Aleia, Silas, Kayden, Elijah, and Atticus; siblings, Daniel Donna Sr. and his wife Rose, Randy Donna and his wife Penny, and Brian Donna and his wife Darlene; his close friends, Dana, and Larry; and several nieces & nephews. In addition to his parents, Burton was predeceased by his wife, Sarah (Johnson) Donna; son, Burton Donna III; grandson, Jimmy Lewis; and siblings, Roy Donna, and Doris Donna.

Friends & family are invited to Burton's life celebration on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 to include visitation from 10-11:00 AM followed with a memorial service at 11:00 AM at the Goss-Spears Life Celebration Home, 96 Dickinson Ave., Enosburg Falls, VT. Interment will follow in the Berkshire Center Cemetery.
