RICHFORD - Carol L. Tatro, age 52, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, July 6, 2017 at the Northwestern Medical Center in St. Albans.
She was born in St. Albans on April 11, 1965 to the late Frederick Sr. & Anna (Miller) Reed.
Carol married Ricky Tatro on December 16, 1989. Her children and grandchildren always came first in her life, even when she was giving them some tough love . Her favorite hobbies included going for her nightly walk, collecting teddy bears or anything that had sunflowers, sea shells or wolves on it, and listening to music.
She is survived by her husband, Ricky Tatro of Richford; 8 children, Cory Reed and his significant other Kayla Paquette of Richford, Heather Stanley and her significant other Jessup Allen of St. Albans, Leann Holmes of Richford, Ashley Giard and her husband Joshua of Richford, Allison Desautels and her significant other Nicholas Chates of Richford, Meghan Desautels, Adam Tatro and his significant other Allana Wood of Richford and Ian Tatro and his significant other Tenika Draper of Richford; step-sons, Seth Thompson of Castleton and Jessie Durgan and his wife Lynn of Richford; her grandchildren Aries, Memphis, Bentlee, Aryan, Lexus, Loki, Teah, Lyric, Justice, Liberty, Montana, Quinn, Willow, Aaliyah, Kayden, Dawson, Christopher, Abraham, Zaria, Blayre, Reggan, Mylee, Akita, Cailynn, Grace and Wynter; her siblings, Annette Bushey of White River Jct., Charlie Reed of Burlington, Stanley Reed of Hinesburg, Alfred & Sue Reed of Sheldon and Barbara & Mark Pynduss of Alburgh; siblings-in-law, Edward & Marion Tatro of Lake George, NY, David Tatro of Berkshire, Maurice & Disa Tatro of Fairfax, Loren & Wanda Tatro of Fairfax, Jeff & Jill (Noyes) Tatro of Richford, Brian & Wendy Tatro of Berkshire, Steve & Michelle Tatro of Richford, Lisa & Scott Baker of Montgomery Center and Sheila Tatro of Richford, Joseph Donna Sr. of Johnson, Sue Tatro of Gatesville, TX and Robert Britch Sr. of Richford and many nieces & nephews. Besides her parents, Carol was predeceased by her siblings, Martha King, Donna Jerry, Wilma Butler, Shirley Reed, June Mercure, Frederick Reed Jr. and Linda Britch and her siblings-in-law, Deborah Donna, Leonard Tatro and Robert Bobby Tatro.
A memorial service will be Saturday, August 19, 2017 at 1:30 pm in Davis Park in Richford.
