FRANKLIN– Clark W. Salmon II, age 75, passed away on January 22, 2021 at the University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington.
He was born in Bennington on August 11, 1945 to Dorothy (Abare) Vollor and the late Clark Salmon Sr.
Clark was a life-long truck driver and retired from Dowling’s Trucking in Burlington. In his spare time, Clark enjoyed deep sea fishing and hunting.
He is survived by his son, Lance Salmon (Heather) of Enosburg; grandson, Andre Salmon of Enosburg; significant other, Maggie Strong of Franklin; mother, Dorothy Vollor of Bennington; siblings, Dennis Salmon (Dorothy) of Vero Beach, FL, and James Salmon (Etola) of Waterbury, Mary Long of East Nassau, NY, Joanna McDonald of Bennington, Elizabeth Salmon of Ticonderoga, NY, and Kenneth Vollor (Rita) of Bennington; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, Clark was predeceased by his son, Clark Salmon III; step-father, Walter Vollor, and brothers-in-law, Richie Long, and Chuck McDonald.
There will be no public services.
