MONTGOMERY– Clinton A. Levis, age 87, passed away on Friday, December 3, 2021, at Brownway Residence in Enosburg Falls.
He was born in Montgomery on September 29, 1934, to the late Carmi W. & Eve (Hoyt) Levis.
Clinton grew up in Montgomery Center on his family’s dairy farm and attended the Montgomery School House. He looked forward to going for long drives, while enjoying one of his favorite snacks, trips to the fair, and visiting with his friends. One of Clinton’s favorite past times was listening to music, he loved singing along to his favorite Johnny Cash or Merle Haggard songs or playing his harmonica and plucking his guitar. He had a flair with the ladies and was always there to greet you with a friendly smile.
He is survived by dear friends and guardians, Martha and Terry Bergeron of Sheldon; care givers, Heidi Kobera of Sheldon, and Lorraine Bergeron of Sheldon; special friend, Bill Bell of Sheldon; and several other friends who will miss him dearly. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his siblings, Hallie (Levis) Grant and her husband Ralph, Hilda Levis, Ralph Levis, Helen Levis, Ida Levis, Carmi “Sonny” Levis, Beverly Levis, and Raymond Levis; and a chocolate lab, Bear who he was incredibly fond of.

Services will be held in the spring with interment to follow in the Montgomery Center Cemetery.
