ENOSBURG FALLS – Crista Duso, age 62, passed away on Sunday, December 1st 2024, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Born in St. Albans on March 27, 1962, she was the daughter of Edward and Judy Corwell. Crista devoted her life to her family as a lifelong homemaker, nurturing a warm and loving environment for her loved ones. Crista found joy in the simple pleasures of life. An avid reader and passionate baker, she delighted in creating both delicious treats and beautiful arrangements from the flowers she loved so dearly. Her home was always filled with music, resonating with the laughter of family gatherings and the love she had for those around her. Crista had a particular fondness for cardinals, often taking moments to appreciate their beauty while gazing out of her kitchen window. Crista also loved Christmas, decorating, and her favorite movies. A woman known for her caring nature and fierce determination, Crista's family meant everything to her. Her steadfast spirit and unconditional love will be deeply missed.
Crista is survived by her husband of 38 years, Mark Duso; children, Scott Duso and friend, Shelby Barber, Alyssa Pritchard and her husband Nolan, Tyler Duso and his partner Huyen; grandchildren, Andréa, Camden, and Lucas; siblings, Beatrice Corwell, Jimmy Corwell, and Jason Corwell; and lifelong bestfriend Linda Turner.
Friends and family will be invited to Crista’s life celebration to include a visitation on Monday, December 9th, 2024 from 11-1:00 PM with a funeral service following at the Goss-Spears Life Celebration Home, 96 Dickenson Ave., Enosburg Falls, VT 05450. Interment will follow in East Berkshire Cemetery.
