Cynthia "Cindy" Hance

October 25, 1945 — September 18, 2014

RICHFORD - Cynthia Cindy A. Hance, age 68, passed away Thursday, September 18, 2014 at her sons home in Richford surrounded by her loving family.

She was born October 25, 1945 in Swanton the daughter of the late Joseph & Joan (Vincelette) Morits.

Cindy was a well-rounded and loving mother, grandmother and person. She was always the first person willing to lend a helping hand. She loved making ceramics, going camping, riding snowmobiles, cooking and hunting and fishing with her family. Cindy loved shopping and would never miss a trip to the Christmas Tree Shops. She also enjoyed music and playing the organ. Her love of holidays will be greatly missed; her home was always decorated for the season.

She is survived by her children, Brenda Smith and her husband Thomas of Enosburg Falls, John Delisle and his wife Melissa of Richford, Dennis Delisle and his wife Mikell of Chambers, AZ, Tina McWilliams and her husband Paul of St. Albans, Dennise Paradis and her husband Raymond Gale of Highgate and Duane Delisle and his wife Diane of Richford; 20 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; siblings, Alberta Gadue and her husband Raymond of Winooski, Wilfred Sonny Morits and his wife Sheila of Williston, Arthur Morits and his wife Maureen, Joanne Gardener, Susan Lefebvre all of St. Albans, Linda Burnelle, Paul Morits and his wife Debbie and Erwin Morits all of Enosburg; special friend Wanda Reed and her family and several nieces & nephews. Besides her parents, Cindy was predeceased by her husband, Wayne Hance; a son, Clifford Delisle Jr. and her siblings, Joseph Jr., John, Lloyd and George Morits.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, September 21, 2014 at 2:00 PM at the Spears Funeral Home, 96 Dickinson Ave., Enosburg Falls with Pastor Patrick Hoadley officiating. Interment will take place at the convenience of the family in the East Franklin Cemetery.

Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:00 PM until the hour of the funeral.
