Cynthia Lasnier

ST. ALBANS - Cynthia Lasnier, age 80, passed away on Tuesday, March 4th, 2025 at the Northwestern Medical Center with her family by her side.

She was born on April 16, 1944 to Joseph and Josie (Martin) Letourneau.

A devoted homemaker, Cynthia was known for her exceptional ability to bring people together, crafting meals and memories for friends and family alike. She had a passion for crafting, loved to shop with family, explored garage sales in search of hidden treasures, and took great joy in the laughter and smiles of her grandchildren-her greatest source of pride and joy.

Cynthia's headstrong nature guided her through life's challenges, but it was her loving heart that endeared her to all who knew her. She will be remembered for her nurturing spirit, her generosity, and her unwavering love for those around her.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Roger Lasnier; children, Brenda Raine and her husband, Robert, Stephen Lasnier, Jamie Lasnier and his wife, Angela, Jason Lasnier and his wife, Kimberly; grandchildren, Alex Raine and his wife, Camarin, Evan Raine and his significant other, Rachael, Ashton Lasnier and significant other, Emily, Lana and Lucy Lasnier, Kira Lasnier and significant other, Noah, and Dylon Lasnier; great grandchildren, Hazel and Cayde; sister, Sheila Benson, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Cynthia was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Josie, and siblings, Jimmy Letourneau, Joseph Letourneau Jr., and Patricia Bruyette.

Friends and family will be invited to Cynthia's life celebration to include a visitation on Thursday, March 13th, 2025 from 4-6:00PM at the Goss Life Celebration Home, 89 Grand Ave., Swanton, VT 05488. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, March 14th, 2025 at 11:00AM at the Church of the Nativity, 65 Canada Street Swanton.
