WEST ENOSBURG / PALM SPRINGS, CA -Daniel Stimpson, age 46, died unexpectedly on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at his home in California.
He was born January 25, 1966 in St. Albans, VT the son of Roger Stimpson and the late Carolyn (Savage) Stimpson.
Dan was a 1984 graduate of Enosburg Falls High School and received an Associates degree in Computer Science from Hesser College in Manchester, NH in 1986. He went on to work for I.B.M. for 15 years prior to moving to California where he worked at Home Depot. Dan was also an avid pool player.
He is survived by his partner, Hector Lugo of Palm Springs, CA; his father, Roger Stimpson of West Enosburg; his maternal grandmother, June Savage of Bakersfield; his brothers, Steven Stimpson of West Enosburg his partner Holly Hiscock and their son Jeffrey of Chateauguay, NY, and Christopher Stimpson his wife Gisele and their daughter Morgan of Enosburg; several aunts, uncles & cousins. Daniel was predeceased by his mother, Carolyn Stimpson on June 21, 2009.
A memorial service will be held Monday, March 5, 2012 at 2:00 PM at the Spears Funeral Home, 96 Dickinson Ave., Enosburg Falls with Pastor Patrick Hoadley officiating. Interment will take place in the West Enosburgh Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
There will be a time of visitation from 1:00 until the hour of the funeral.
