Darrell A. "Bunny" Reed

West Berkshire - Darrell A. Bunny Reed, 68, passed away at his home on Wednesday evening, October 12, 2011 with his family at his side.
Darrell was born on April 2, 1943 in East Enosburgh, the son of Newton and Dorothy (Robtoy) Reed.
Darrell had been employed at Kaytec in Richford for the past 20 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, tinkering and always had a project going. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Surviving are Darrells wife, Wanda (Gokey) Reed of West Berkshire; his daughters, Cheryl Reed of Port Orange, FL and Tonya Thompson and her husband Robert of West Berkshire; 3 grandchildren, Breeann Reed, Kyle Thompson and Amber Thompson; sister-in-law Jeannine Beuhler of Pawling, NY; his brothers, Morton Reed and his wife Arbutus Babe of Enosburg and Norton Reed and his wife Bertha Sis of Isle Lamotte; a special nephew Kevin Reed and his wife Joann of Enosburg; sisters and brothers-in-law Kevin and Bonnie Donna of West Berkshire and Marilyn Baker of Montgomery; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Darrell was predeceased by his brother Rayburn N. Reed and his mother and father-in-law Lucy and Chester Gokey.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at 2:00 PM at the Spears Funeral Home in Enosburg with Pastor Jason McConnell officiating. Interment will follow in the East Franklin Cemetery. Friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00 PM until the time of the service.
