ENOSBURGH - Dawson Timothy-Michael Perley, age 15, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 28, 2015 at the University of Vermont Medical Center surrounded by his family as the result of an ATV accident.
He was born December 24, 1999, in Burlington the son of Amber Fairbanks and Timothy Perley.
Dawson just finished his freshman year at Enosburg Falls High School. He was very athletic and especially loved soccer and basketball. He had many special friends and family and loved laughing and telling jokes with them. Anyone who knew Dawson knew how special and unique he truly was. Dawson, as a big brother, was adored and looked up to by his brothers and sisters. He should always be remembered as a kind, generous, giving, easy going and loving, son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend.
He is survived by his mother, Amber (Fairbanks) Ovitt and her husband Bradley of Enosburgh; his father, Timothy Perley of Enosburgh; siblings, Levi Webb, Cadence, Ethan, & Aspyn Ovitt all of Enosburgh; maternal grandparents, Michael & Reba (Bowlby) Fairbanks of Enosburgh; paternal grandfather, Peter Perley and his fianc, Roberta Morin of Enosburg Falls; maternal great grandparents, James Bowlby of Enosburgh, Kenneth & Linda Fairbanks of St. Albans, and Beverly Fairbanks of St. Albans Bay; maternal step-grandparents, Dennis & Donna Ovitt of Bakersfield; aunts & uncles, Melissa (Perley) St. Pierre her husband Jason and their daughters, Emma & Mia of Enosburgh, Jeremy Fairbanks and his wife Tiffany of Sheldon, Shannon Fairbanks of Sheldon, and Sue & Chuck Pearce of Richford; step aunts & uncles, Jennifer & Aaron Wright of Bakersfield, Belinda & Jared Bessette of St. Albans, Darren & Tina Ovitt of Bakersfield, Tony & Jackie Ovitt of Bakersfield, and Barry & Debbie Ovitt of Fairfax; many close and special cousins and friends. Dawson was predeceased by his maternal great grandmother, Nancy Bowlby; paternal great grandparents, Merrill & Fern Perley; and his cousin Thomas Cook.
Funeral services will be held Friday, July 3, 2015, at 11:00 AM at the Enosburg Falls High School Gymnasium. At the conclusion of the funeral all are welcome to join the family in the school cafeteria. Burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family in the Enosburgh Center Cemetery.
Visiting hours will be held Thursday from 4-7 PM at the Spears Funeral Home, 96 Dickinson Ave., Enosburg Falls.
