ENOSBURG FALLS / FAIRFIELD - B. Dean Wanzer, age 74, husband of Corinne (Wells) Wanzer, passed away Tuesday evening January 31, 2012 at the Franklin County Rehab Facility in St. Albans.
He was born April 1, 1937 in Enosburgh the son of the late Buell S. & Elizabeth (Plumb) Wanzer.
He was a resident of Fairfield most of his life where he owned and operated a dairy farm for many years. For the past 2 years Dean & Corinne made their home in Enosburg Falls. He was a former member and Past Master of the former Chester A. Arthur Grange. He enjoyed woodworking, Deer Hunting, Maple Sugaring and Gardening.
He is survived by his wife Corinne Wanzer of Enosburg Falls. Dean & Corinne were married October 18, 1984. He is also survived by his stepchildren and their spouses, Christine & Russell Buckley of Peoria, AZ and Nancy & Ernie Sanders of Falls Church, VA; his step grandchildren, Jessica Drake and her husband Curt of Phoenix, AZ, Josh Poirier of Fairfield, Michelle Locey and her husband Christopher of Falls Church, VA; Step-Great Grandchildren, James Brown of Phoenix, AZ, and Brandon Bergeron of Peoria, AZ; his sister, Cora Tiffany and her husband Morris of Fairfield; several nieces and nephews.
In keeping with Deans wishes a graveside service to be held at the Sheldon Village Cemetery will be announced this spring. There will be no visiting hours or funeral service.
