BERKSHIRE - Debbie Ann (Lagro) Waterhouse, age 52, passed away Sunday evening September 4, 2011 after a courageous battle with cancer at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born October 28, 1958 in St. Albans, VT the daughter of the late Graydon and Josie (Broe) Lagro.
Debbie was raised and educated in Richford, and married John Waterhouse on June 19, 1976. Her many jobs included being an aide at the Berkshire Elementary school, a bartender at both J.D.s Pub and the Richford American Legion, and she worked in the manufacturing department of IBM. She retired from IBM in 2001 due to health reasons. Debbie was a lifelong member of the Richford American Legion Auxiliary.
She is survived by her husband, John Waterhouse of Berkshire; a son, Jason Waterhouse and his wife Lucinda of Berkshire; a daughter, Johanna Waterhouse of Montgomery; a daughter, Jennifer Loiselle and her husband Michael of Enosburg; her grandchildren, Jacob & Jaden Waterhouse Both of Berkshire and Hannah & Devin Loiselle both of Enosburg. Debbie also had many special nieces, nephews, cousins and friends and will be greatly missed. Besides her parents Debbie was predeceased by her sister Linda Lagro.
Debbies family would like to thank Dr. Sanders and the staff at VCCM and the nurses and staff at Franklin County Home Health Agency for their outstanding support and care given during Debbies illness.
Funeral services will be held Friday September 9, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the Spears Funeral Home, 96 Dickinson Avenue, Enosburg Falls, VT 05450 with Pastor Patrick Hoadley officiating. Interment will follow in the Richford Center Cemetery.
Visiting hours will be held Thursday from 5-8 PM at the Spears Funeral Home in Enosburg.
