ST. ALBANS – Diane M. Ryea, age78, passed away on Saturday June 11, 2022, at the University of Vermont Medical Center.
She was born in Fairfield,Vermont on November 20, 1943, to the late Margariet (Neveau) and Edwin Perry.
She graduated from Enosburg Falls High School in 1962.
Diane enjoyed, fishing, wood-burning,word searches, scratch off tickets,lawn sales and spending time with her family and friends. She was an amazing cook; her family was especially fond of her goulash. She “lived well, loved much and laughed often”.
She is survived by her children, Lisa Johnson and her husband Kurt, Regina Domina and her husband Terry, and Marie Wetherby and significant other Tom Ryan; grandchildren, Nathan Johnson and his significant other Valerie Adams, Mitchell Johnson, Angee and her significant other Scott Kane, Jessica LaBlanc, Nicholas Wetherby, Meagan Wetherby, Terrell Perry and Zander Rice; great-grandchildren, Teagan and Eli Johnson, Kayleb Smith and Kaden Kane; brother, Roger Perry; sisters, Audrey Patterson and her husband Stewart, and Dale Burns and her husband Jim; and her special friend, Rose Carruth. In addition to her parents Diane was predeceased by; her husband, Reginald Ryea; and son, Edwin Perry.
Diane’s family would like to thank AmCare Ambulance Service, especially EMT Clem; and The University of Vermont Medical Center, Baird 6, Surgical ICU for their exceptional care especially nursing staff Savannah, Lauren, and Peter.
Family and friends are invited to Diane’s Life Celebration to include a graveside service on Friday, June 24, 2022, at 2:00 pm at the West Enosburgh Cemetery,VT Route 108, Enosburg Falls, VT 05450.
