SWANTON – Donald N. Elliott, age 65, passed away on Friday, December 4, 2020 surrounded by his loving family at his home in Swanton.
He was born in St. Albans on June 7, 1955 to the late Henry & Rose (Greenia) Elliott.
Donald was a jack-of-all-trades and a self-proclaimed master of none. The truth is Donald was a very talented woodworker and mechanic that could make or fix just about anything. He was a truck driver at heart, and by trade, since he was 16 years old. He was most recently driving for Sticks & Stuff until his health condition combined with the pandemic forced him to retire.
He is survived by his wife, Theresa (St. Francis) Elliott of Swanton; three children, Holly Putnam and her husband Donald Jr. of Swanton; Jeremy Lambert of Swanton; and Donald J. Elliott of Swanton; five grandchildren, Kodi and his fiancé Karen, Kelsi, Kori, Natasha, and Zachary; one great granddaughter, Alice; his siblings, Al and his wife Pauline, Gloria, Hilda, Shirley, Raleigh and his wife Tina, Shirley and her husband Jim, Judy and her husband Rene, Larry, Randy, John and his wife Angie, and Craig; special friends, Larry & Pam, Lester & Ann, and Brian; and many nieces & nephews. In addition to his parents, Donald was predeceased by his siblings, Junior, MaryAnn, and Lenny.
