Donald LaBombard

ISLE LA MOTTE– Donald L. LaBombard, age 77, passed away on Friday, April 21^st 2023, at the University of Vermont Medical Center.

He was born in Plattsburgh on April 11, 1946 to the late Ellsworth and Frances (Lucia) LaBombard.

Donald graduated from St. Anne’s Academy in 1964. Donald went into the Army shortly after graduation for a few years. Upon returning home, he worked as a buyer for General Electric then transferred to the United States Postal Service as a Postal Clerk until retirement. He enjoyed much of his time gardening and reading his favorite mysteries. Donald loved his summer home in Isle La Motte. He was an avid antique collector, and his most recent collection was paper weights.

He is survived by sister, Nancy Hazard and her husband Dick; nephew, Brian Hazard and his wife Christine; niece, Lisa Oldham and her husband Michael; and special friends, Jason Desautels, cousin William Clayton and his wife Lisa, and cousin Doris Clayton, and Gerri Yandow.

Friends and family are invited to Donald’s Life Celebration to include a graveside service on Saturday, April 29^th, 2023 at 2:00PM at St.Joseph’s Cemetery, 60 Cemetery Road, Isla La Motte.
