Donna L Tipper

FRANKLIN - Donna L. Tipper, age 65, passed away Wednesday morning, August 8, 2012 at the St. Albans Health Care & Rehab Facility in St. Albans with her family at her side.

She was born June 15, 1947 in Enosburgh the daughter of the late Donald & Mary Gertrude (Young) Messier.

Donna was a longtime employee at Northwestern Medical Center having worked at the Switch Board and in Admitting prior to her position as a Central Sterile Supply Technician in Surgical Services, retiring in 2008.

Donna enjoyed reading (romance novels), listening to music, dancing and shopping. Most important to Donna was her family. She loved family gatherings and spending time with her family and most of all she loved her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Robert Tipper Jr. and his fianc Christine Cassel of St. Albans, Dean Tipper and his wife Lorri of Ft. Belvoir, VA, James Tipper of Berkshire, and Christa Gibson and her husband Kevin of Franklin; 13 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; her twin brother, Donald Messier of Enosburgh, brother, Michael Messier of Richford; several nieces and nephews; her former husband and father to her children, Robert Tipper Sr. of Enosburgh; and her dear friend, John Reynolds of Highgate. Besides her parents, Donna was predeceased by her brother, David Messier.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at 2:00 PM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church 222 Missisquoi St., Enosburg Falls with Rev. Roger Charbonneau celebrating the Mass of Christian burial. Interment will take place at the convenience of the family in St. John the Baptist Cemetery in Enosburg Falls.

Family and friends will gather at the Spears Funeral Home, 96 Dickinson Ave., Enosburg Falls on Tuesday August 14th from 12:30PM to 1:45 PM.
