Douglas "Sharky" L. Corey

Alburg- Douglas L Corey (Sharky) Age 62 passed away suddenly on Monday June 8th, 2020. He was born in Hartford Connecticut to his late parents -father Gordon Frederick Corey and mother Dorothy Irene Maynard (Corey). He was also predeceased by life partner Patricia A Corwell. Douglas was a resident of Hartford Connecticut until his 20`s, then moved to VT where he lived out the remainder of his life. Douglas worked throughout a handful of schools where he was a maintenance worker until retiring from Bellows Free Academy in St. Albans 2 yrs ago.

He was also survived by the kids he considered his kids - Stacey Corwell and partner John Lockwood Jr of Alburg, Pamala Armstrong and partner Daniel Swedo of Milton, Tammy and Paul Brunton of Alburg. In addition to his grandchildren Brandon Lockwood, Chelsea and Paul Brunton ll, Samuel and Gabrielle Armstrong. He also had 4 great grandchildren Ava and Evony Marshall, Axel and Kyra Brunton.

Douglas was always young at heart and loved the outside. His favorite past time was fishing and taking long rides through the country. He truly was a great man with a big heart. He will be loved and missed always by the ones who loved him the most.
