RICHFORD - Edna F. Wright, age 99, passed away Tuesday evening, November 25, 2014 at the St. Albans Health & Rehab Facility.
She was born on April 1, 1915 in Richford the daughter of the late Howard & Anna (Rogers) Fletcher.
Edna grew up in Richford and was a 1934 graduate of Richford High School. She married George W. Wright on August 25, 1934. Edna & George lived throughout New England before moving back to Richford in 1965 from Bridgeport, CT where she had worked in the Dietary Dept. at Golden Heights Nursing Home.
Edna enjoyed sewing, making quilts and reading. She also loved the companionship of her cat, Ichabod.
She is survived by her daughters, Laurel Sweetland & Lana Pucko both of Richford and Lorraine Wright and her friend Robert Hemmond of Franklin; her granddaughter, Nancy Erno and her husband Ernest; her great grandchildren, Derek Fecteau his friend Christine and their daughter Serena, Halley Tibbits & Ernest Erno Jr. all of Richford; several cousins. Besides her parents, Edna was predeceased by her husband, George W. Wright; and several aunts & uncles
In keeping with Ednas wishs she will be cremated and there will be no funeral services or visiting hours. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family in the Richford Center Cemetery.
