Edward Benoit

Cowansville, Que. - Edward R. Benoit, age 76, passed away Saturday March 20, 2010 at the Brome Missisquoi-Perkins hospital in Cowansville, Quebec.
Edward was born August 29, 1933 in Sweetsburg, Quebec the son of the late Edward A. and Bernice (Goodhue) Benoit.
He is survived by a daughter Dawn Titus and her husband Patrick of Crown Point, NY and their children Caelin and Marissa; a son Cary Benoit and his wife Bridgette of Frederick, MD and their children Kara and Taylor; a brother Robert Benoit of Mashpee, MA; and his long time friend Wilma Cleveland of Cowansville, Quebec.
Edward was veteran of the United States Navy and received an honorable discharge in June of 1960. Following his discharge, Edward achieved his master degree and was a high school teacher and a college professor before retiring
Committal prayers will be held at St. John the Baptist Cemetery in Enosburg Falls, VT on Saturday, March 27, 2010 at 1:00 PM.
