ST. ALBANS / ENOSBURG FALLS - Edward Albert Billow, age 81, passed away Friday, October 29, 2010 at the Redstone Villa Nursing Home in St. Albans.
He was born July 4, 1929 in Enosburgh the son of the late Albert & Frances (Geraw) Billow.
Eddie was a resident of St. Albans since 1982 and was a former resident of Enosburg Falls. He was a U.S. Army veteran during the Korean War and was a member of the American Legion Post # 42 of Enosburg Falls and the V.F.W. Robert Glidden Post # 758 of St. Albans. He was employed for the Village of Enosburg Falls for many years. Eddie enjoyed fishing, hunting, going for rides, and breakfast at the Dairy Center.
He is survived by his sons and their wives, Tony & Linda Billow of St. Albans, and Scott & Theresa Billow of Richford; 2 grandchildren, Nathan Champaine & Ridge Cook. Besides his parents, Eddie was predeceased by a daughter, Tina Marie Billow; a son, Danny Billow; a brother, Arlin Billow, a half brother, Fred Billow; and a half sister, Shirley French.
Military honors will be accorded Eddie at St. John the Baptist Cemetery in Enosburg Falls on Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at 11:00 AM. There will be no visiting hours.
