ENOSBURG FALLS - Elizabeth Betty A. Billow, age 74, passed away Friday morning, April 28, 2017 at Our Lady of the Meadows in Richford.
Betty was born September 13, 1942 in Sheldon the daughter of the late, Charles & Madeline (Lackey) Burns.
Betty was a resident of Enosburg Falls for the past 11 years and was a former longtime resident of St. Albans. She worked as a private duty care provider in St. Albans and then as an LNA & Cook at Redstone Villa for Many years. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, dancing and working on her flower gardens. She loved animals especially her cat & dog that provider her companionship when living in St. Albans.
She is survived by her children, Tony Billow and his wife Linda of Sheldon, and Scott Billow and his wife Theresa of Richford; her grandsons, Ridge Daniel Cook & Nathan Champaine; her Sisters and their husbands, Irene & Wilfred Bedore of Berlin, Theresa & Sherman Gilbar of Berkshire, Bonnie & Ronnie Winot of Berkshire, Joyce & Joseph Ouellette of Milton, and Brenda & Michael Jewett of Richford; her brothers, James Burns and his wife Dale, Robert Burns all of Enosburg Falls, and Bradley Burns and his partner Tracy Engel of Johnson; many nieces and nephews and their families. Besides her parents, Betty was predeceased by her brother, David Burns; and her sister, Rose Ainsworth.
Bettys family would like to thank the staff at Our Lady of the Meadows Community Care home in Richford and the staff at Franklin County Home Health Agency for the care provided to Betty during her illness.
In keeping with Bettys wishes, she will be cremated and there will be no public services. A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family in the Sheldon Village Cemetery
