NORTH HERO- Ellen S. Norris, age 52, passed away peacefully on January 18th, 2023, at the University of Vermont Medical center with her loving family by her side.
She was born in Burlington on July 26th, 1970 to Edward and Linda (Hazen) Norris, who survive her.
Ellen graduated from Essex High School and attended Champlain College where she received her Associates degree in accounting. She loved the art of dance and danced for over 25 years. Ellen was assertive, but also had a heart of gold when it came to her family and friends. She enjoyed many day trips with her mom to many different outlets or antique shows. She loved making memories the most and we will hold them dear to our hearts. Ellen enjoyed long distant traveling and took many trips including to California, Florida, and Jamaica to name a few. She had a love for shoes, including her favorite clogs and Teva sandals during the warmer months. A few of her favorite things were the color purple, dragon flies, and a huge collection of Disney movies. One of Ellen's most recent hobbies/loves was her collection of Baby Yoda figurines and memorabilia, including an authentic, life size version of Grogu.
She was a very strong person and fought, quite literally, until the very end. She will be missed immensely.
Ellen leaves behind her loving parents, Edward and Linda; her sister, Wendy Hazen (Paul Petro); nephews Adam (Shayna), Joshua & Jacob (FrannyTheoret) Mashtare; niece Pyper Hazen Astleford; great niece and nephews Ayden, Wyatt, Blake and bonus great nephew Sawyer.
