ENOSBURG FALLS - Eloise F. Demar, age 75, wife of Robert Bud Demar, passed away Wednesday morning November 2, 2005 at the Northwestern Medical Center in St. Albans.
She was born July 17, 1930 in Richford the daughter the late Joseph & Lydia (Martin) Pollender.
She was a resident of Enosburg Falls and Montgomery most of her life and also spent winters at the Orange City Campground in Orange City, FL. She was employed at Atlas Plywood in Richford; she was also employed as the Manager at the Corinthia Lodge and Alpine Haven both in Montgomery and finally worked at Grampa Grunts also in Montgomery Ctr. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post # 42 of Enosburg Falls. Eloise enjoyed playing BINGO but most of all she loved to play cards with her grandchildren.
Besides her husband she is survived by her 3 sons, Dennis Demar and his fiance Bonnie Stowe of Franklin, Allen Demar and his wife Deborah of Enosburg Falls, and Gary Demar and his wife Fran of San Leandro, CA; her grandchildren, Carol and her husband Jerry, Amy and her husband Joe, Liza and her husband Ryan, Anna, Nathan and his wife Jennifer, Kristina and her husband Shaun, Mitchell and his fiance Kilie, Jessica & Sarah; her great grandchildren, twins, Hannah & Kailee, Thomas, Lydia, Allison, Erica, Emmery, Cassidy, Devyn, Joe Jr., Heather, Sierra & Lexis; 1 brother, Wilfred Joe Pollender of Burlington; 1 sister and her husband, Reba & David Ryea of Richford; former daughter-in-law, Becky Demar of Franklin; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by 3 brothers, Frederick, Freeman, and Ernest Pollender; 6 sisters, Glendora Birch, Louise Owens, Jessie Young, Hilda Chaplin, Ellareta Wetherby, and Gladys Lumbra.
Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon November 6, 2005 at 2:00 at the Spears Funeral Home, 96 Dickinson Ave., Enosburg Falls. Interment will follow in St. Isidores Cemetery in Montgomery Ctr.
A time of visitation will be held Sunday at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until the hour of the funeral.
