FRANKLIN - Faith J. Jones, wife of Alan Jones, passed away Friday, April 22, 2011 at her home with her loving family at her side.
She was born July 8, 1937 in Burlington the daughter of the late Donald & Geraldine (Schoolcraft) Dukett.
Faith was a resident of Franklin since 1982 and was a former resident of Plainville, CT. She was a member of the East Franklin Union Church and was employed at General Electric in Burlington for 25 years retiring in 1992. She was a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary Post # 778 in Swanton and the American Legion Auxiliary Post # 42 of Enosburg Falls. Faith was a generous supporter of animal causes and veterans organizations.
She is survived by her husband, Alan Jones of Franklin; her daughter, Lydia Rivera of Holly Hill, FL; 2 grandsons, Jimmy Rivera and his wife Christa, and Danny Rivera; 6 great grandchildren, Trey, Alexandria Nicole, Atticus, Cole, Cloie & Karli Rivera; her step-children, Brenda & Timothy Gray of Duxbury, Rick Jones of Enosburg, Cheryl & Jeff Vance of Georgia, and David Jones of Rochester, NY.; 5 step grandchildren, Chad & Steven Vance, Jada & Ashleigh Jones, and Samantha Gray; a step-great granddaughter, Zakyia Vance; her brother, Sidney Dukett of Plainville, CT.. Besides her parents, Faith was predeceased by her grandson, Antonio Rivera.
A graveside memorial service will be held Sunday June 19, 2011 at 1:00 PM at the East Franklin Cemetery with Pastor Jason McConnell officiating.
