WILLISTON / RICHFORD - Francis Harding Miner, age 93, husband of Cecile (Lamory) Miner, passed away Friday, September 14, 2012 at the Vermont Respite House in Williston.
He was born in Richford on December 28, 1918 the son of the late Lee & Pearl (Blanchard) Miner.
Francis was a lifelong resident of Richford and since 1986; Francis & Cecile have made their home in Williston. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII. He worked in the maintenance shop at Blue Seal Feeds in Richford for 28 years.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Cecile Miner of Williston; and good friends, Albert Chuck & Marilyn Sue Pearce of Richford; many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brothers, Reginald, Raymond & John Miner.
In keeping with Franciss wishes, he will be cremated with interment taking place in the Hillside Cemetery in Richford. There will be no funeral services or visiting hours.
