ENOSBURG FALLS - Francis Frank Pariseau, age 68, passed away Thursday, January 5, 2012 at Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington.
He was born January 17, 1943 in Sherbrooke, Quebec Canada the son of the late Henri & Elianne (Fortin) Pariseau.
Frank attended Sherbrooke Elementary School. In 1952 at the age of 9 Franks family moved from Canada to Sheldon. He attended Holy Angels School and was a 1959 graduate of St. Marys High School in St. Albans. His only hobby, ambition and love was working and he started working at A. Bonneau Machinery at the age of 15 and eventually bought the business which he has operated for the past 37 years. As a young man he also worked at Fonda Container in St. Albans.
He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. He enjoyed going to the casino to gamble, playing 500 which he played nearly every day and was an avid Canadians fan faithfully watching Hockey Night in Canada.
He is survived by his wife, Joan (Bocash) Pariseau of Enosburg Falls. Frank & Joan were married on May 2, 1964. He is also survived by his children, Michael Pariseau and his wife Andrea of Richford, and Sarah Pariseau of Rutland; 2 sisters, Julienne Greenia and her husband Raymond of Burlington and Lucille Bourbeau and her husband Frank of Medway, MA; several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Frank was predeceased by a brother, Laurent Larry Pariseau; and 2 sisters Georgette Kane & Rachel Pariseau.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday January 10, 2012 at 11:00 AM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 222 Missisquoi St., Enosburg Falls with Rev. Roger Charbonneau celebrating the Mass of Christian burial. Interment will follow in St. John the Baptist Cemetery.
Visiting hours will be held Monday from 4-7 PM at the Spears Funeral Home, 96 Dickinson Ave., Enosburg Falls.
