Frank J. Steinhour

RICHFORD– Frank J. Steinhour, age 92, passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at the Ave Maria Home in Richford.

He was born in Berkshire on March 11, 1930 to the late William and Emma (Bashaw) Steinhour.

Frank grew up in Richford and joined the United States Army in 1954 where he served in Korea. He then lived with his sister Stella Norton and husband Oscar in Newcomb, NY until moving to Glens Falls where he worked until his retirement. Frank loved animals especially horses and German shepherds, gardening, and was a car enthusiast.

He is survived by many beloved nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Frank was predeceased by his brothers, Arthur, Wallace, Linwood and George Steinhour; and sisters, Bernice Clark, Stella Norton, Christine Johnson, and Marion Cantell.

In keeping with Frank’s wishes, public services will not be held.
