Frederick Jettie, Sr.

SHELDON - Frederick A. Jettie, Sr, age 70, passed away Friday morning July 19, 2013 at the St. Albans Health & Rehab Center in St. Albans.

He was born July 28, 1942 in St. Albans the son of the late Elaine (DeCelle) Jettie & Leo Jettie Sr.

Fred grew up and attended school in Fairfield. He was a longtime employee at the Missisquoi Pulp Mill (Rock Tenn) retiring in 1987. Fred enjoyed fishing, camping and tinkering on cars on his own land.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy (Teague) Jettie of Sheldon. Fred & Nancy were married September 28, 2007. He is also survived by a son, Frederick Jettie Jr. and his wife Moria of Sheldon; brother, Raymond Jettie and his wife Joan of Swanton; several grandchildren & great grandchildren; his sisters-in-law & brothers-in-law, Lola Jettie of Fairfield, Deborah & Louis Roberge, Leo & Carol Teague, and Randy Teague all of Sheldon; many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Fred was predeceased by a son, David Jettie; sister, Evelyn Stella OBrien; and brothers, Edeas Jettie & Leo Jettie Jr.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at 11:00 AM at the Spears Funeral Home, 96 Dickinson Ave., Enosburg Falls. Interment will follow in the Sheldon Village Cemetery.

Visiting hours will be held Tuesday evening from 7-9 PM at the Spears Funeral Home in Enosburg Falls.
