ST. GEORGE / HYDE PARK - Gale M. St. Cyr, age 69, passed away Saturday, August 4, 2018 at The Manor Nursing Home in Morrisville.
She was born May 2, 1949 in St. Albans the daughter of Theresa (Lumbra) Lamore and the late Romeo Lamore.
Gale grew up in Montgomery and was a 1967 graduate of Enosburg Falls High School. She also graduated from Sheldon Academy of Hairdressing and was a hair stylist in Chittenden County for 30 plus years more recently working at Stellata Salon in Williston. Gale spent most of her adult life living in St. George and for the past 2 years made her home with her parents in Hyde Park. She loved to travel and visited several National Parks and went on many cruises.
She is survived by her mother, Theresa Lamore of Hyde Park; her brother, Jeffrey and his wife Jo Ann of Hyde Park; her nieces, who Gale loved to spoil, Chelsea Lamore of Johnson, and Brandi (Lamore) Dannat, her husband Devin and their children, Liam & Raegen all of Eden; several aunts, uncles & cousins. Besides her father, Romeo, Gale was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Austin & Alberta Lumbra; and her paternal grandparents, Anthime & Florence Lamore.
A memorial service will be held Friday August 10, 2018 at 11:00 AM at St. Isidores Catholic Church, 169 Mountain Road, Montgomery Center with Rev. Stan Deresienski celebrating the Mass of Christian burial. Interment will follow in St. Isidores Cemetery. There will be no visiting hours.
