ENOSBURG FALLS - Garold D Lutes, age 67, passed away Sunday, May 6, 2018 at the University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington.

He was born January 1, 1951 in Indianapolis, Indiana the son of the late Thomas and Blanche Lutes.

Garold grew up in Indianapolis, moved to Florida and eventually settled in Vermont. Garold served time in The Military Police Corps for the United States Army and worked as a construction worker specializing in concrete. He loved spending time outdoors with his family camping, going for long drives through the mountains or wherever the road took him, and fishing anywhere, whether that be a small brook or deep-sea. Most of all, he loved to spend time with his cherished children, grandchildren & great grandchildren.

He is survived by his children, David Lutes of Illinois, Charles Williams of Richford, Michele Bessette and her husband Larry of Richford, Amanda St. Cyr and her husband John of Berkshire, Marcella Burrington and her husband Matthew of Enosburg; his grandchildren, Hayley Lutes, Kyle Lutes, Joslynn Bessette, Logan Bessette, Bailey Bessette, Justine St. Cyr and her fianc Brady Hemond, Sylvia St. Cyr, Hailey Burrington, and Ryan Burrington; his great-grandchildren, Brayden Paradis, Bella Hemond, and Leah Hemond; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Garold was predeceased by his great grandson, Aven Royea; his brother, Carl Lutes; and his sister, Karen Linkous.

In keeping with Garold wishes, there will be no public services.
