RICHFORD - Mrs. Gladys M. Shatney, age 92, passed away Wednesday July 11, 2007 at her home after a brief illness, with her loving family at her side.

\tGladys was a graduate of Montpelier High School. On February 13, 1934 she married William S. Shatney. \tGladys is survived by sons, William H. Shatney and his wife Patricia of Lacona, NY, Robert S. Shatney and his wife Gail of Barre, and Richard J. Shatney and his wife Rebecca of Essex Junction; a daughter, Joyce C. Holmes and her husband Clinton of Richford; a daughter-in-law, Patricia Shatney of Deland, FL; many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Shatney on January 13, 2007; her second husband, Byron Bentley; two brothers, Willard Holden & George Holden, and two sisters, Josephine McDonald & Ruth Kramer.
