Glendora Rose Mayotte

RICHFORD - Glendora Rose Mayotte, age 97, passed away Friday evening, January 6, 2012 at Ave Maria Community Care Home in Richford.
She was born February 11, 1914 in Berkshire the daughter of the late Edward & Eva (Longley) Mayotte.
Glendora was raised in Berkshire and for nearly 54 years she made her home in Framingham, MA returning to Vermont in 1986. She was the owner of Glen Ellen Hairstyles in Wellesley, MA. for 12 years. She was a great cook and especially enjoyed the Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots and watching golf.
Glendora is survived by her nephew, David Mayotte and his wife Barbara of Fletcher; her nieces, Marlene McGowan and Brenda McGowan both of Enosburg, Lois Fazenbaker of Fredericksburg, VA and Jane Lariviere and her husband Marc of Richford and a sister-in-law, Hattie Mayotte of Richford.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Elmer, Richard and Ralph Mayotte; her sisters, Mamie Hurtubise & Alberta McGowan and her dear friend Lloyd Eldridge.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 13, 2012 at 10:30 AM at the Spears Funeral Home, 140 Main Street, Richford. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family in the Edgell Grove Cemetery in Framingham, MA. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 9:30 until the time of the service.
